To prevent accidents at Avalabetta hills, the Chikkaballapur police restricted access to the area and cautioned individuals against putting themselves at risk. The hills, located 80km from Bengaluru, are a popular spot for youths to showcase risky stunts on social media platforms. Following a video of a youth hanging from a rock's edge, the police intervened and identified the individual as Akshay Kumar from Bagalkot. Akshay Kumar, a recent graduate preparing for competitive exams, expressed regret for his actions and filmed a message advising people to avoid dangerous activities at Avalabetta hills. He was released after issuing the video apology.
